Plant diversity at the Jerusalem Botanic Garden: a Gateway to the Flora of the Middle East and Beyond Dr. Ori Fragman-Sapir is the scientific director of the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens in Israel. He is an expert on the Mediterranean and West Asian floras, as well as on geophytes, plant conservation and sustainable horticulture. Ori is the editor of the “Flora of Israel Online,” and is well known for leading extraordinary floristic tours of the Middle East and Mediterranean.
