This year's SDHS Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast was held at the San Diego Botanic Garden on a spectacularly beautiful September day.
The many Volunteers in attendance were treated to a delicious breakfast catered by Seaside Market of Cardiff.
Ray Brooks, Jason Chen, SDHS, NancyJo Klaphaak, Connee J Design, San Diego Hat Company, Designs by Linda, Sunshine Care and Pottery by Karen provided wonderful gifts that some lucky volunteers received when their name was pulled from a bag.
And, finally, Susan Starr, who also happens to be a SDBG docent, took volunteers on a tour of the gardens while others enjoyed roaming the gardens on their own.
Does this event sound like something you would like to attend next year? Then please consider volunteering!
As a volunteer-based organization, the San Diego Horticultural Society relies on our membership to help provide the wonderful events that all members enjoy.
And … we need you!
