The Palomar District of California Garden Clubs has announced the 26th Anniversary Season of their Floral Design Forum. The Forum is held the first Monday of every month at 12:30 PM from October to May at the Shinoda Design Center in Valley Center. The seminar’s objectives are to bring the finest floral designers to San Diego County; promote appreciation of floral art forms; develop skills in critiquing floral art; improve individual skills for in-home floral decorating; learn skills for flower show exhibition; encourage members to enter flower shows; and promote floral arts in the community. The forum is open to anyone interested in floral design.

On September 16, there will be a free preview session to get your creative juices flowing. Subsequent sessions cover topics as varied as Ikebana, using an autumn pallet, or designing to complement containers. You can purchase an all-season pass or pay per session. Details and pricing are available on the Palomar District website.
